Dr. Livy E. Stoyka received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from prestigious Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1998. After relocating to Bradenton in 2001, she established her solo practice on Manatee Avenue in 2003. The practice has grown rapidly and Dr. Stoyka has worked hard to balance providing excellent, quality dental care while running a successful business that serves the community.
Born in Canada, Dr. Stoyka has recently become a naturalized American citizen. Her love for her adopted country has fueled her belief in giving back to the community, which has provided her with so many opportunities. Knowing from experience that you only get back what you give, Dr. Stoyka participates in many local charitable and volunteer service programs.
Dr. Stoyka has been particularly inspired by the students at Manatee High School, and has enjoyed volunteering as the Community Service Advisor for the Student Advisory Committee since 2008. As well, she has mentored numerous high school students from MHS in the “On the Job Training” program. She is inspired by the efforts of the Juvenile Diabetes Association to eradicate childhood diabetes and fundraises on their behalf. Additionally, Dr. Stoyka is an avid fundraiser with the American Cancer Association in their fight against Breast Cancer. Dr. Stoyka has also recently become more involved with the Young Life organization.
Dr. Stoyka and her daughter live in Northwest Bradenton and are active members of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Church.
Dr. Stoyka is a member of several local and nationwide professional organizations and has been a member of the Manatee Dental Society for over ten years. She frequently attends continuing education courses focusing on general and cosmetic dentistry in order to better serve her patients with excellent quality dentistry.
